Retired P.E.O. sisters and their spouses are invited to join the Chapter House family and make it their home. Many find our moderate four-season climate and the carefree lifestyle a bonus for health and enjoyment in later years. It is also the place where your P.E.O. sister may become your best friend!
The Idaho P.E.O. Chapter House is located in the heart of Caldwell, 25 miles west of Idaho’s capitol and largest city, Boise. Visitors to Caldwell are delighted by the small town atmosphere and the large city amenities. Thousands visit for annual events like the Indian Creek Festival, Winter Wonderland, Taste of the Harvest, Blues Festival, Canyon County Fair, and the Top 20 Professional Caldwell Night Rodeo. Local attractions include the Indian Creek Plaza and walkway, the College of Idaho and its Fine Arts series, Wolfe Stadium, the historic Train Depot, and more than 12 local wineries and vineyards. Caldwell is also home to a new state of the art YMCA, which offers a variety of programs for seniors. The Chapter House is within walking distance to a hospital, medical complex, golf course and several churches, beauty salons, restaurants and a convenience store. The senior bus comes to our front door.
The Chapter House is comprised of a stately two-story Neoclassical Revival-style mansion with four suites, five brick homes, and a lovely, remodeled triplex on over two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Each day, residents and their guests come together for a delicious, home-cooked noon meal prepared by our renowned Chapter House chef, Kapi. He shops daily for the freshest meat, produce and seasonal items. Mealtime is an opportunity to socialize, make plans, and discuss upcoming events. Residents often make lasting friendships.
